Budget tyres

Has anyone bought and used barum bravuris 2 tyres. I have just had 2 fitted and find they have quite good grip in the dry and wet. Just wondering what everyone else thinks.

Lol, they are actually made by continental and are there budget range.

Had them on a car I bought, hated them, no feel in the dry and awful in the wet.

I had them on my old non sport, had no issues with them. Never really pushed it to its limits though.

As long as you remember they are budgets and won't offer the performance of more expensive tyres, you will be fine.

How cheap are they? Surely a rain sport 2 at £50 is cheap enough and actually going to give you some grip and reassurance

Rainsport2 are £90 each for a 16 inch wheel, i paid £39 each for the barum although they have gone up to £ 60 each now.

£62.50 each at Camskill for a 16" for the Unis.

Maybe one of the "better" budget tyres if that even makes sense. Still wouldn't bother putting them near any vehicle of mine though.

Plenty of cheap mid range tyres out there that are much better, uniroyal, falken, kumho etc.
