Come out of my house this morning to find my front window has been cracked right in front of the driver don't know how it happened looks like it been hit with something, any way I want to know how much people have paid for a new window to be fitted I have a guy coming to do it for £125 is this good ?

That's cheaper than the one I had fitted to my old Clio, mine was £190 iirc.

Not a bad price then, first call was autoglass but they wanted stupid money so i told them no

Cant you claim your excess on your insurance which is normally £50/60?

Think I paid roughly £80 for my old 1.2 to be changed.

Do you not have windscreen cover with insurance. Excess is usually small, think i paid about £70

Doesn't count as 'normal' insurance claim.

Stonechips etc lead to mot failure... No one would ever claim if it was going to cost you in the long run.
