Brakes - Mk1Ph3

Went to have a drive this morning, started driving, pressed the brakes and they went down further than normal and felt wobbaly like abs had kicked in (I dont have abs by the way lol)
The hand brake lever comes way to far up (not sure it works now)

What do people reckon is wrong then

Check the brake fluid level

checked that was fine. sorted it now
