Brakes binding

My drivers side front brake is binding and catches once every revolution. Bit annoying tbh. I'm having some new calipers soon, will this fix my issue? If not, what else could it be?

If the caliper is binding, it's highly likely the catching you're talking about is a warped disc!

Could be the pads are very stiff in the holder. Best bet is to remove and clean up the contact area between the pad and the holder.

Had brand new discs few months ago. Happened on old and new discs, just had new pads nearly 2 week ago

Did you fit the new pads yourself? We're they a tight fit?

Some times you just have to take the edges of them slightly with a file.

Nope, and nope.. perfect fit! This has been happening way before I had new pads, it's not pad related.

The shim was missing too on one pad carrier!
