Brake piston not moving help

I decided to paint my calipers again so removed it last night (just the front right) and put on a spare caliper but did not notice there was no nipple in it.
Today when I went to put it back on there was fluid on the floor but still fluid in the reservoir so just refitted the caliper as I have done before and topped up the reservoir and the piston is not moving and the pedal just goes to the floor think it may be air in the ABS.
Anyone got any suggestions how to sort it out as I can not take the car anywhere as I have no brakes, maybe call the AA but will they do anything.

buy or borrow a pressure bleeder, you can sometimes get the pedal back that way,
or
If you know anyone with Renault clip or a good diagnostic tool you can fire the abs modulator circuits individually which is the way it should be done if the abs valve block has had air in it.

Just try bleeding as normal . It might just be air in the caliper you refitted and the brake line . You've got nothing to lose. If you do get some brake fluid through , make sure you keep topping up as you bleed.

Tried that a few times but not getting the piston to move at all as it is still about 5mm from the pads so should move easy, I may try the old caliper again just in case but I know the one on is a good one with good seals.

Re-bleed the whole system first, use a litre. If that doesn't work go out and find lose gravel or grass and fire the ABS 4-5 time then re-bleed the whole system again, repeat again if necessary. Get a 5L of Pagid 5.1 fluid from ECP as its peanuts and not bad for flushing.

No good I just tried again and no fluid is coming out when the pedal is pressed, it drips when the brake line is disconnected from the caliper but nothing when opening the nipple and pressing the brake, I can not drive the car as I have NO brakes at all.

Got to be the caliper then, seems odd though as it was working before.

Regardless if it was working before fella , it's emptied its fluid and the air lock is at the master cylinder/abs unit as the air has replaced the fluid .
A calliper can't goose over night like your thinking it has .
I'm sure after a good pressure bleed it'll be fine , but there is that uncertainty that clip might be required after to aid in the bleed process.
Personally I would be doing the ABS kicking in braking function to see if the air would move about .
Happy bleeding [emoji12]

I just tried again with the vacuum bleeder and still no luck, I am going to go and see a Renault specialist that is about 5 mins from me and see what he says and he may be able to come out and activate the ABS with clip if not I will be phoning the AA.
I can't activate it by driving as the brakes don't work so I can't even drive it to a garage.

Sounds like there's an open line then, so as you pump it pushes air, then draws it back in when releasing?

Tried a vacuum bleed this morning and that did not work so went and brought a ezebleed kit (the valve fitting is s**t kept leaking so chopped it off and connected to my compressor set at about 18psi) pumped about 1l through and got a reasonable pedal but when the engine is running the braking is right at the bottom, so tried the old fashion way and still the same.
Looks like it has got to go into a garage.
