Brake lights not working

My girlfriend noticed when following me on friday night that both my brake lights were out. They were working the day before this though, so I'm presuming it isn't a bulb issue.

Both my rearlights work fine, but the brakes aren't coming on. I've checked the fuse and this is ok. Any other suggestions before I take it to a garage?

Try adjusting the brake switch. On the pedal. Also a good way of testing is to bridge the two pins on the connector and see if they come on then. If they work, its the switch.
