Brake Info wanted

I need to do a brake overhaul on my 1996 1.2 phase 3 clio, i need front Disks, calipers and and Drum shoes. I'm unsure whether i have Bendix or Girling brakes? i don't have any means of removing the wheel at the moment to have a look as i'm at uni.

Any information regarding which parts i need to buy would be much appreciated.

Only way to be sure is to take the wheel off.

How do you know you need rear shoes if you cannot take the whel off you'll have to take the rear wheela nd drum off to ensure you get the right shoes anyway.

the reason i know i need shoes is because it now sounds like metal on metal.

does anybody have any info? im desperate to change em.

You'll have to take the drums off to find out what type you have there no other definate answer.

And if your doing that take the fronts off to check the pads used although you can tell by lookin at then with the hwell on if you've alloys etc.
