in the middle of a single carriageway with traffic going both ways at about 60/70 in a 40. Saturday morning at about 8am. had a front tow strap in orange i think.

It weren't me. I had a black 172 but sold that to a lad at work but about 3 weeks ago. It's never had a tow strap on tho. I drive that way to work in the week but have never seen a black 172 with an orange tow strap.
