Big service what's oils etc?

Time for a big service on the 172.

Going for oil and filter, fuel pollen and plugs, gearbox oil coolant and brake fluid

Done a bit of research and thinking 5.1 brake fluid as looking to do a couple of track days, thinking millers oil as read good reviews on this - what's people recommendations on plugs etc and what grades of oil should I be looking at?

If it was me I probably wouldn't go with 5.1 fluid. It's fully synthetic & despite what people say it's not remotely long life.

Engine Oil: Fuchs Titan Race Pro 5w-40
Pollen Filter: Made by Purflux iirc and available from GSF
Gearbox Oil: Elf Tranself NFJ 75w-80
Coolant: Type D
Brake Fluid: ATE Super Blue DOT 4. £15 for 1 litre from Euro Car Parts.

Opie oils do some decent deals and do servicing packs with the right volumes of oils etc. Discount for Cs members too
