best way 2 bed pads in?

is this the best way 2 bed pads in?

30-5 3 times, 60-10 3 times 80-10 3 times? just do that yeh?

oh and iv got new disk on aswell, does that matter?

^ I made that mistake. You see new discs need to be used gently otherwise you can warp them. HOWEVER, new pads need to be done like you said, by doing a few 30 - 0 stops and then 60 - 30 stops. Or a combination.

So that's what I did, and when I pulled back in my drive the discs were smoking (obviously I had taken the surface off them) but luckily they aren't damaged. Phew!

So perhaps the best bet is to take it easy for say 50 - 100 miles and then do the harsh braking to bed the pads in properly?!
 
Each pad has different bedding in I've always bedding mine in with some hard 60-10 stops or a lot of left foot braking and never had any trouble.

You have to get some heat into them early to get rid of the protection on them.

Like edde says , left foot on the brake as you drive helps to bed em in faster .

good job i know how 2 left foot brake! otherwise i wud have gone out and crashed! if u tell ppl to left foot brake make sure they know what 2 expect!;) but cheers for the tip!

You'll only hit your head on the windscreen once , then you'll learn how much pressure to apply , lol ;)
