My Clio 182 is now reached 27k and the dash has lit up saying its due a service.
Ive checked with Renault and they want £190 for the service so i contacted Kwit Fit and they want £170.

Is this about the kind of price i will be paying or can someone recomend me a place. I live in Runcorn, Cheshire.

not due a service mate. the serv light on the clio means there is a fault. are there any other lights on as well?

I'll be booking mine in just as soon as my goodridge hoses are delivered. Come very well recommended on here, look on the dealers sub-section.

SERV light means theres a fault, check your manual and see if any other lights are showing. The car should be serviced every 12,000 miles.

Howdy I had this happen on my 182 a couple of years ago i phoned the dealer they said to check the oil and top it up. Did this and the light went off, the 182 deffinately does not have a service light.

You're from Runcorn? I always take my Williams to a garage called Grangeside in Weston, I've used them for years, the only local garage I trust tbh. Their customer skills aren't the best, but I do recommend them as they always do a good job and don't charge ridiculous rates....

when you turn the car on it usually says 'oil ok'

if your oil is low it will just say 'oil' and it will also flash

when you initially turn your car on and it is displaying either oil ok or just oil, reach into your dash and push that button coming out the speedo and it will display your oil level on the computer

if it is at the lowest it will also be flashing and that will have caused your SERV light to come on.
