Best 14" tyre to get, any ideas?

Anyone have any idea what make tyre would be the best for some 14"rims?
165 70 14
Had a search on the net but dont seem to be brands im familiar with

Try a 65 profile.. or 175 60 or 55. Might just be an awkward size.

Why 14s awkward size. A mate got some Toyos T1Rs iirc for his 205 14s.

There for steelies off a mk2 punto and only need the front 2 so just want to keep the same all roundFound some continentals for £100 ish for a pair, continetals a decent brand arnt they?

Conti contact 3 are £43 a tyre which i think is decent

Look at some khumo's.

I bought 4 for my mums proton 'sport' (lol!) and they cost me under £100 fitted. I think it was £98 fitted from memory.

They're alright too!

Thers some on kamskill and ther more expensive than the rest, allways thought they were a budget tyre?

I've no idea, I just went in and asked for 4 tyres fitted for under £100 because I was paying as she's skint! lol.

They're ok though, I was a bit dubious at first as lets be honest, they don't shout quality! lol.

Thats the difference see, my mum does a maximum of an hours driveing per week. She's done less than 6000 miles in three years.
