Back end sliding in wet

  Mk2 172 Cup
This a common problem with the clios?
Iv felt the back end slide a little in the rain a few times on roundabouts(not going fast)
Doesn't feel as 'planted' as I think it should
got nearly new tyres on the back
anything I can check or do to tighten it up a bit?

Thanks

What tyres and what pressures ? A few PSI up or down can make a difference ! Also as mentioned, shocks do like popping for fun on these... assuming it's got standard suspension.

So you've put new tyres on, and since then it's been sliding in the wet?

Both my 172 and 182 the rear end would never slide out :(

Check tyre pressures, one of my rears was very low and tended to make the back a bit happy.
