Axle stands - How long can i keep the car on them

Hi,

Im looking at refurbing all four wheels myself, I got 4 axle stands. How long can i leave the car on the stands obv respraying is going to take a couple of days so is it alright if i leave it on them?

i'm sure you can leave the car on them indefinetly if they are put inthe correct place.

I was going to put them under not on the sill, on the long strips that run back to front and taper away as they get to the back, cant remember what the tech name is.

Where do i put them at the rear of the car?

I had my old 5gtt on axle stands for 8 months and all was ok.
