Automatic dimmer wire

Does anyone know which wire connecting to the HU is for auto dimming the HU display when the headlights are turned on?

Side light circuits wiring are BLUE. This wire will be connected to the dimmer switch and therefore reduce brightness when the dimmer switch is turned down.

on the headunit or on the car?

always double check, use a test light on the ISO and flick on your ignition till u find the right wire.

my head unit had the dimmer automatically. i assume its in the iso wiring

yes it should be in the iso but some h/u require it to be connected on its own,
