Auto finesse revive review

I can't seem to find a dedicated thread for Auto Finesse revive.

I bought a full size bottle a good few months prior to getting this sample, and I'd previously done a large clean on my car including revive the week before receiving the sample so this review will be a compilation of random previous pics with a few pictures of my girlfriends civic thrown in. I'll try and keep it fairly structured.

I massaged revive on with the foam applicator, I don't know why but it made it feel a bit of an occasion applying it this way. It let a very uniform, natural finish... Personally, I didn't like this. You could layer it up to get it nice and glossy but I like to slap it on and let it cure itself for a nice glossy finish.

tough coat on the alloys, revive on the plastics... Sonax bsd on the paint as I really couldn't be arsed to do a full decon and reprotection.

I find this works best after the surface has been given a decent wipe down with isopropyl alcohol. The alcohol also helps to dry out the surface, removing any moisture that could prevent the revive from setting properly.

off the top of my head, you can see up to 3 months durability from this on low traffic areas such as the A and B pillars.

I'm quite partial to a trim gel so I think I'll keep this in my arsenal for the foreseeable future. The only thing that let's it down (and I'm really nitpicking) is the bland smell.

cheers

Great review mate, i used this when doing my first proper detail yesterday and it was really easy to use, and gave a great finish as you've showed, I applied it with a microfibre... Nice work! civic looks clean :)

It's good stuff this. I remember years ago using bumper gel which this basically is.

I usually apply it with a microfibre very sparingly, i find it gives a much glossier finish than using the applicator pad.
Cheers I didn't even mean to clean it I just got carried away

Yeah, ah, I used to use the turtle wax trim and tyre gel, I need to buy some more just because it smells awesome tbh

I find revive lasts longer though... And as it's more expensive it won't be going on the tyres lol

Great review, bought myself some a few weeks ago and applied it straight away. Made a impressive difference completely rejuvenating my faded plastics! :)

Does it last well? Most stuff looks great for a few weeks and then same old.
