Anyone building a new rig or upgrading, this has to be no1 choice now unless you've silly money for a 8800GTX/Ultra

2900Pro 512Mb, identical to 2900XT apart from clocks but O/C to XT clocks for £170

hmmm, its hotter, its louder, it uses more power, it still gets beat on a couple of games to the 8800gts and in a couple of areas.

8800gts is also better fps on most games running vista OS.

£175 vs £240 too.

good card, but cant help expecting more from it?

Maybe someone will release a non reference board with better/quieter cooler, wonder if the 8800GTS prices will drop

definatly a price drop i reckon, wont be long before the new nvidia will be out anyway
