anti freeze coolant

planning on putting some new anti freeze, coolant in my clio 1.2 16valve dynamique now this horrible crappy cold weather is here. guna drain the old out first tho. is it just as simple as unclipping the pipe letting it drain then putting new in or is there anything else i shud do. just checking before i go and break it lol
