My renewals due in 10 days, so scouring the net. Just on Elephant, gone through the quote and one of the questions is 'any claims, accidents etc in last 3 years regardless of fault'. In april last year some stupid bint pulled straight across me into a side road and wrote my 172 off, so i put that in, not at fault etc.
It added £91 onto my policy!!! How does that work?! Also, changed my job title to 'mechanical engineer' from 'mechanic' and it knocked £34 off!!
Anyhu, cheapest so far is my renewal price with Tesco Value at £632. Im 23, 2002 172, no mods, 5 years NC, driving for 6, garaged, 10k, SDP, mum as named driver, mechanic, and SP30 x 1
