Annoying Mobile Problem

Hi Everyone,

I have a Samsung Pixon 12 on Vodafone (contract).

When someone sends me a text it doesn't actually come up on my phone until I press a button, they I get the notification of a new message. Anyone else had a similar problem and more importantly, how do you fix it?!
