The Focus is a spaceframed silhoutte. The Subaru is quick, but its still 'just' a modified road car. There is quite a gap in cost/speed.

Spaceframed silhouette meaning, it's not a ford focus at all? It's literally a really powerful engine, running gear etc, with a focus "shell" on top?

As far as I know it's just a carbon body kit on a tubular frame with the engine from his old Focus. He runs in Scottish saloons which is a stupid championship...there's his car, his old Focus I think...not sure...a Lambo Superleggera and a fiesta with 4WD and some crazy turbo engine...and lots of other random things. Doesn't seem to be much in the way of rules.

The Lambo is no more (for a while anyway) after a wet round at KH, and its an Evo engine in the fiesta.

Its a good challenge of tuners in scotland and also gets some of the drivers signatures on their licences.

But yea it isnt really all that competitive.
