Aluminium Air Ducting on Valver

Thinking of getting some of this for my valver to draw cold air from my front bumper to my K&N filter. Just wondering if anybody has done this on a valver at all and if so, have you noticed any significant diference or is this just a waste of time? cheers. Matt.
