also have a tyre question!!

my 182 has still got the exalto's on the back and the front has two cheap tyres on, was like that when i got it!

I got a couple of prices when i got the type R new rubber! michalin where £640, bridgestone was £540, and avons where £370! I took a chance and went for the avons! and they are an excellent tyre on the type R! they are really grippy and feel safe when cornering!

Has anyone here got avons on there 182?? as they are clearly great value and great on the civic.

Or does anyone have any other suggestions?! as i will need a new set by the time i get to 36k!

PE2's are 80 quid ish a corner i think no where near £640 - thats a joke!

Get a better quote on some PE2's or goodyear eagle f1 gds3 are good.

there is a tyre poll on here somewhere...

I did think £640 was taking the mick, i got 2 Eagle f1's for £180ish

yeah it is, i think its about £88 for a PE2 at the tyre place i use
