Alloy scuff - opinions?

I managed to scuff my wheel against the kerb a while back and now it's bugging me, so time to get it sorted.

It's only light but has gone right through the clearcoat and paint - knowing how these things can easily start peeling/corroding/spreading what would be the best way to deal with this?

A) Touch-in pen
B) Wet/dry, rattle can and laquer, diy job
C) Something else

You can get special kits off ebay for fixing your alloys, takes a bit of time but the results are really good! get everything you need in them.

How do these kits work for colour matching?

I've just done a quick search on eBay and found loads of them but my wheel is Renault anthracite and I don't fancy driving round with a big silver patch on it!
