Alarm question

Currently have an issue with my LY. Think the battery is dead. I cannot open the car using my key fob, tried my spare also incase it was the battery in the fob but still nothing. If I unlock from the passengers side door is this likely to set the alarm off?
Don't fancy waking my street up by trying this without knowing tomorrow morning!

If the battery on the car is that flat that the fob is not opening the car, unlocking it with the key will not set off the alarm
