Airbag light wont go out

I have fitted some bucket seats to my clio, but now i cant get the airbag light to go out. I have fitted some 3.3ohm resistors which after reading on here were supposed to be the correct ones?

I have fitted the 4 of them to the airbag wires and the seat pre tensioners. That should put out the light right? It will come up, go off as it should but then comes back on with the serv light.

Any help please?

Go to your local specialist and get them to disable it properly in the ECU.

Theres none nearby though, and now the car has run out of MOT :S

Take it to a dealer and get them to do it then. Will be dearer than a specialist though.

Thats do-able. Would that be MOT friendly though? Doesnt the light need to come on then go off again?

Getting it done via the ECU is fine. They all come on and go out again like they should. I get mine done like that, I'm not a fan of bodging things up with resistors.

Ok that sounds good. So I just need to leave the plugs loose? And they should be able to sort it?

I reprogrammed my trophy via the ecu to ignore the steering wheel one. Cones up as normal then goes out so not friendly, well kind of
