Air mass meter removal?

am i right in thinking people remove the air mass meter in the intake pipe going to the intake manifold?

i know it would make it overfuel and prob go into limp mode?

tell me if i'm speaking a heap of s**t lol

They haven't got one mate. Use a MAP sensor instead. A lot of people remove the acoustic valve from the air feed going to the airbox though.

what does that do if i remove it? and where is it located?

Makes it a little louder but not allot else iirc.
