Air conditioning problem

Hi, I recharged my air con today but it won't blow cold. I followed the instructions and the compressor kicks in as when I press the air con button the pressure test gauge with the kick drops a tad then fluctuates up and down a bit but nothing happens to the temp. The pipes don't get cold or anything.

Any ideas on what I could check or do to get it working?

Take it to an air conditioning specialist

try groupon recharge air con gas, and if theres a leak, they give you your money back

That's what I did, and mine had a leak :- (Phew- isn't it hot LOL)

Do you hear the loud click from the compressor when you turn the AC on?

That was soon fixed.
What was the fault with it? Hopefully you didn’t do as l did and complained about the aircon not working on my van, then discovered the heater was set to warm.

No, I regassed it making sure I turned the bottle side to side and I felt it going into the pipework. Now it's great.
