After reverse wont select a gear?

  200 RS 2010
So a few days ago my 200 had me stranded in a car park after id reversed out of my space. It wouldnt select 1st, or anything else i tried for a minute or so until a few pumps of the clutch one finally worked. Then it drove fine for a the next three days going a few hundred miles, then this morning after a 2 mile drive to work same thing, put it into reverse, then when i looked for 1st nothing, would go in any gear.
The cars a 2010 with 35k on the clock, im guessing (hoping) the gearbox fluid has never been changed and that just might be it.
I'm assuming it could be a weep in the slave cylinder or even the clutch or linkages or even the gearbox.
I need it saturday for 120 mile drive to the airport which i obviously cant be late for so im desperately looking for a garage/mechanic in Bath or the surrounding area who can look at it and maybe even fix it in time.
So basically any advice on garages/mechanics or help with the issue itself would be greatly appreciated.

Be worth asking them, good will etc.

Could be the linkage that’s loose, maybe and needs adjustment.

Could be the release bearing. Speak to the garage first imo.

Oh well I've emailed the dealer, see what they say. I'm having a decent garage look at it tomorrow to give me an idea what I'm looking at either way. Cheers for the advice

I'm praying the worst it will be is a slave cylinder and clutch with new gearbox oil. I can just about cover that. Gearbox rebuild is not gonna be welcome news

So dealership says clutch is wear and tear item go f**k yourself so I've been quoted £550 for clutch kit slave cylinder and gearbox oil change

No he did mention it to me, said it might take a bit of pumping the clutch, said it took him over an hour to bleed it. Sure it's just a matter of putting some milage on it to get used to it. I've seen lots of before and after pictures of the old and new bits and it seems he did a proper job, knew his stuff really well. It was done by Jay Tonkin from Mendip Autoservices in Shepton Mallett, he's a Renault specialist, the most local one I could find.

I was looking at this the other day and thinking that if you have to bleed the slave cylinder, No 2 is not exactly the end of the line.

Can't try it tonight but I'll give it a go for the 6 hours I'm at work tomorrow. Hopefully that will be long enough

Well I've jammed the clutch downd full depressed, I'll leave it for 2 hours and see what it's like after work

it may of just worked? only did a mile and a half but it didn't hesitate at all and there was only one slight bump going from 3rd to 4th the first time i did it, the second time it was fine. Ill be doing a few hundred miles tomorrow so that'll get it all warmed up and broken in. Either way thanks for the advice mate
