advice needed please

i know there will be plenty of posts for this but can someone justgive me some quick advice ......im after a set of 205 40 17 tyres but when i phoned up to order they asked what rating i needed can anyone suggst a good cheaper tyre and a rating i should go for please???

the ratings refer to how fast the tyres are capable of being run at. V or W are normal to go for for an RS clio.
