ABS Rings

Hi guys,
Quick question as i cant seem to find a definate answer, can i fit rear discs to my 172 cup without having the abs ring on them? gonna buy a set of brembos i think which dont come with an abs ring but come with bearings

I didn't think 172 cups had abs?

But just take the rings off the old disks

Yeah the cup has no abs but it is essential to have them fitted or can they just be left off?

dont need them, not used at all on the cup
