A guide or help on how to replace the fuel rail please

Need to do this on my ph1 (mine has the fuel pressure regulator if it makes a difference)...don't want to do it wrong so help or a guide would be appreciated :)

Its as straightforward as it looks, nothing special about it. Just take your time and be careful.
 
When you disconnect the fuel line from the rail you'll get a very small amount of fuel leak out. Nothing to worry about as long as you're not smoking at the time. I didn't bother trying to catch it or anything.

Don't worry about spillage. Go away and make a cuppa and it will have evaporated, lol.

Hopefully not needing to replace the fuel rail now and only just the the fuel hose connector.... but thanks for the information as I will still need to disconnect the line :)

The breakdown guy was here for over an hour and could not get the fuel hose off the connector so we could replace the connector.....

How the hell do you get the hose to come off?

Is it now a case of new hose so the new connector can go on?

Ah, yea that would be a full new pipe then to just under the drivers side footwell. I've got one for £20

Popped into a specialist and they are going to sort it during the week along with a couple of other bits while I am there
