A belt is squeaking but I had aux belt and tensioners done 6 months ago

but you said if it's too tight it will whine as revs drop and to loose it'll flap. It wines as revs drop.

You said it sounds like they've co*ked up. If it can't be adjusted how can they. Belt off. Change tensioner and and idler put back on. All new Renault parts and fitted by a Cam Belt specialist (he was on about how tight it was but worse he'd done was a 20v Fiat Coupe.)

Does the angle of then tensioner make any difference or anything. Could if be water pump whining. Did the supercharger noise since it's been done but it's winney now. Since it's Renault parts if it's a faulty idler or tensioner would they swap it?

Sorry for all the questions but since I've had this car (1 year) I've spent:

£150 on engine mounts and it still bangs but not as much
£250 on exhuast cause middle section went.
£170 on aux tensioner/idler (£50 kit £120 fitted)

and I'm still no better off!

Spoke to Nic and he's going to have a look on Saturday. Spoke on phone to him. He was recommending I get all belts done for piece of mind but it is a lot of money. Depends how long I'm gonna keep car and how long it's gonna run well before costing me more money!
