Just thought I'd give an update as its been awhile, I sold my last Impreza 21Months ago to try a different type of car but I ended up getting bored again so have gone back to the Impreza but a different kind this time

My previous Impreza Sti (I'll update this when I can find the whole engine build spec)

The colour makes such a difference, IMO they don't look as good as previous models in the WR Blue, it's got to be grey or white for me!

I was also eyeing up a Type R JDM but it was just way to raw to be used as s daily, where as I've got the Clio to be my bit on the side so didn't really want 2 very unpractical cars

  Several
Hated the hatch when it first came out, but they can look really good in STI form, and this one proves it.

Not into the big power though personally.

I dont chase big power really but I like to have them so there usable for track and can be abit of fun.

My blobeye was running 380hp on the 2.0l engine, but then decided to buy a 2.5 lump that had piston failure and I forged it

Got that running 550hp with a Garret GT35 but that was ridiculous I'll dig out all the spec when im home from work

  A special one.
Sound's expensive bud.

I'd like mine to run 400bhp, I still want to keep the top mount.

It's only a toy so I'm guessing 400 will be plenty for the road.

Think the engine set me back about £5000 in all, still got it sat on a Pallet still undecided what to do with it.

400 is plenty and is on the max for the top mount all that's keeping my hatch back but I don't want to go that route again as I don't like the look of front mounts and it ruins the engine bay!

That is gorgeous!

And you don't half dislike slow cars do you lol.

I had no idea 335Ds could be so powerful!

Cheers mate :)

Nope i don't do slow :p

Those 335d are massively underrated cars, in standard form with just a remap and a DPF Delete you will see 350hp and 690nm while still getting 58mpg on a run! no one believes me on pages like this but it would kill an M3 as there engines are so lazy low down being a V8 i had 730nm at 1250rpm all the way round to 5000rpm

Do you mind saying how much you paid for it and how old/mileage?? Might buy my misses one when we get rid of the atrocity that is the Qashqai.

That torque must be comical even in the dry.

How did it do to get the power down? Did it wheelie?
