214 bhp 172 mk 1

  none :(
Just pulled up at the petrol station, and then this mk1 172 pulls up next to me. we both get out the cars to fill up, while im filling up the bloke next to me says "how you find these sports" to which i reply "slow as mine is only a 1.2"
he then goes on to tell me how fast his 172 is - "this is rapid its way faster than 182s they are crap, he then states ive had this chipped its now running at 214bhp (must be some chip that does that).

What a bloody bannock

I went down our local renault garage in morecambe in my ph1, the guy on the parts desk said they used to take there 172's over to LAD motorsport (french car specialists in pug/cit) and used to put them on the rolling road, he said they never got one back that was putting out less than 180bhp!

Perfectly good word bannock. His car must be made from dough and doesn't fall apart when it gets wet. ;)
