Are all the bearings good?

Is it on all roads or only one particular road that it's being tested on?

Have you tried swapping the front wheels with the rear wheels to see if the problem moves?

hi, all roads, bearings good, swapped all wheels ,done alignment, moved rear beam, moved front subframe, alignment now better than factory

Hmm... I'm trying to think of all the other possible things it could be! lol

Are all the bushes good? Worn bush could give some play under load.

When you changed the rack, did you also change the track rods? Track Rod wear at the rack end can give play in the steering.

Tyre pressures correct on all wheels? (Although if the issue didn't move when the wheels were swapped, it would suggest it's not tyres being low.)

If it's an EPAS system, it could well be electrical gremlins, which would be a PITA...

Can you pull a fuse and run it without power assistance, to see if it stops the issue from happening?

Could swapping/replacing the steering column and all the relevant sensors be an option? (even if just borrowing from a 'known good' car?)

Have you run a diagnostics check with a CLIP machine (or whatever the process is / whatever the kit is called)?

If it's a 2015 car, is it still in warranty?
