2000 1.4 8v sport re-wiring ph2 lights to fit

does anyone know how to re wire mk2 ph2 lights to work on a mk2 ph1 1.4 8v sport 2000. help anyone:S

Easy way it to just run a seperate wires from the cigarettle lighter to a switch on the dsh to the front fogs.
