Your photoshop skills need some work, and I think it would be a HUGE amount of effort but if you pulled it off, it'd look awesome!

using a note book with the finger pad thinggy is not helping lol.

major effort to ever get it to ACTUALLY WORK but it does look pretty good!

Do it!

Bit off topic but there's a guy on Passionford who grafted one on to his Escort RS Turbo, certainly looked different.

I really like that! Muchos improvement over a standard ph1 bumper I you could graft one on there :)

Anybody willing to donate a ph1 rear bumper and a cheap 197/200 diffuser ;)

I am proper tempted to have a go at this when I come back from Ibiza !!!

I've been mocking one up for my ph2 clio, but making if from ali. You can rivet or bolt them to the rear bumper and then to the floor pan. That does look like a really good idea using a 197 diffuser. Look forward to seeing the outcome of this bud. Good work!

im currently doing this to my mk1 ph2 megane. its a nightmare if the wheel well comes anywhere near the bottom of the bumper, ive had to chop my wheel well out lol.

looks the tits mocked up on my car tho, even if i do say so myself. only half way there still and like i said epic amount of work!

ohh and btw, dont want to piss on your bonfire, but the diffuser is a lot wider than that you have photoshopped :) on my meggy its about 6 inches each side off the edge of the car. and im guessing my meg is slightly wider than your clio?

not to hand mate but i can get some on wednesday for you. but like i said before you go spending your money check how low your wheel well sits and how far back it is. if its too low or far back then your looking at a lot of work to get it to fit.

ive had to cut my wheel well out and weld a plate in the boot instead, mainly to get a dual exhaust too (which btw your exhaust will be in the wrong place) so its a lot of work.

not trying to put you off or anything because it looks aweosme but its a lot more work than just cutting a bumper and bolting it on unfortunatley

another problem is the diffuser has the holes the exhaust! it needs to be a blank diffuser, there's a few on ebay for imprezas and stuff.

tbh i doubt i will do it, i wouldnt mind giving it a go if i had the parts to hand as i think it looks awesome !

you'd need to chop the wheel well out for a start. The diffuser goes well back under the MK3. I'll get you some measurement when i nip out later
Has been done before mind you,

The ps looks good. If the diffuser is too wide maybe you can chop a section out the middle to make it smaller?

  CLIO PH1 172
yea i think it would look better on a ph1 bumper and it cant be body colour it definitely needs to be black or carbon

  CLIO PH1 172
could it not just go under this? the wheel well isnt lower than the bottom of the bumper is it? or is it?

Would look epic!!!! I got a ph1 rear bumper in my garage has a bit of damage to it but might be ok for a mock up, was gonna throw it out

youl be suprised mate, the wheel well on my car was level with the bottom of the bumper, which is too low, and too far back so the sweep of the diffuser wouldent clear the back

If your cutting into ther rear bumper then it would be mounted higher than the wheel well,
it's only an inch or so higher than the rear bumper.
