2 Very Quick Audio Related Questions...

Right, i have two quick questions that i need answering.

First one: Will this speaker cable be adequate for door speakers? Is it the right Gauge etc...

Second One: What are the following wires for in the picture?
I understand that there would be 8 in total for four speakers (Front and Rear: Left and Right, Positive and Negative) but what are the other four wires for? Do they need to be there?

U can use any wires really, iv used a speaker wire to do as the Remote on the Amp to the Headunit, works fine not problemos atall, go to B&Q and get a Roll from there, or go to your Builders Merchant

4 wires as as 2 go to speaker 2 go to tweeter,1 from each pin

But what are the extra cables for?

Surely to do four speakers and two separate tweeters you need 8 lengths of wire. 2 to do rear right speaker, 2 to do rear left speaker, 2 to do front right speaker and tweeter and 2 to do front left speaker and tweeter.

My understanding is that the wire for the front speakers splits up and another two separate wires go up to the tweeter and two go to the woofer.

1 and 5 for speaker in rear
4 and 8 for speaker in rear
2 and 6 1 from each goes to the woofer
the other 1 from 2 and 6 goes to the tweeter
3 and 7 1 from each goes to the woofer
the other 1 from 3 and 7 goes to the tweeter

cant remember which side is which right now,only just got up
