197 Spring change help

So had a look around the forums and interweb and make it look like changing the front springs on a 197 isn't the easiest job in the world.

Being quoted from £260 to £280 to have it done in a garage is this about right?

Any advice on tackling it at home or just better to take it in (and if so any recommendations for East Kent area)
