185 HP 172 Mk III - any info

Can anyone give me info on this 180/185 hp version of the 172. I really need the engine number off one, or at least the country they are sold in.

Mk3 Clio? No such thing... well, not for a little while anyway. Probably means Mk2, Phase 2.

Surely they wouldnt release a new version with 8bhp more?

Well its not called the 172 anywhere else is it? The supposed exhaust system and maybe a different ECU could give the extra 7bhp, and they just wont mention it as a selling factor if they sell it over here.

Probably to make sure theyre competeing with the revised 206 gti? and Ibiza cupra r for that matter.
