182 Temp sensor again!!

Firstly how much are they, and whats involved in changing it, and exactly were abouts is it, im presuming its on the front of the block?

Unscrew it and put the new one in quickly before you loose too much coolant or draw air into the system, its located on the righthand side of the block in the thermostat housing. You'll need to remove the airbox (iirc) to get to it. Don't let the coolant res level fall below the bottom hose or you'll have to bleed the system.

Cheers mate, its a bit difficult to see but I can just make out the nut against the thermostat housing, do you put any sealant on the threads or not?

It has some of the same red silicon sealent stuff they use on the rocker cover, but you can just put a little PTFE tape on the thread which will suffice. May be worth draining the system and changing the coolant while your doing this though.
