Had the car 8 months - no issues
Woke up 5am drove 200 miles with 1 stop (no issues)
Got to work then when I came back to my car turned the key and it just clicked - it was dead.
Dash lights fading, speedo going to 50mph the dropping, throttle body clicking, no engine turning.
Jumped the car using leads and took it to the garage. They checked the battery and it was VERY dead but still has the green light on showing its in good health.
Put a new battery in, tried it.
Engine turn over twice and just before it fires it stops. Does the same thing again. Then its dead again. Nothing.
After 2 mins tried again the same happened.
Tried again and it was dead - locked the car, then unlocked the car, and it did the same 2 turn overs but dies just before firing.
This happened about 15 times.
Then all of a sudden it fires up. Seems to be starting every time now.
So what the hell happened?
ECU issues that drained the battery?
Drained battery causing the ECU to have a fit
Immobiliser issues?
