182 reving up to 4K

hi all on my 182 it revs up to 4K from start up and doesn’t drop ... I had someone look at it and they scanned it and it come up with them faults that are in the picture he replaced the throttle body cleared the codes came straight back up and did the exact same thing again just to mention he did do a dephaser pully change on it ? Can that make it do that if it’s a pattern part ?

Any help be much appreciated

He was a lot of help then.
The crucial word there is CIRCUIT, as in the copper things that join it all the hardware together.
Do you live anywhere near Long Eaton?

I’m based in Hertford mate any ideas on what it could be
You could check the connector to the throttle pedal.
I`m 90% sure they rev @4000 rpm if disconnected.
I have a spare throttle pedal if you wanted to substitute for elimination purposes, though it would be turn up for the book if that is the problem.
Most likely cause will be a broken or corroded wire.

I`m puzzled by your comment about dephaser change, I`m not aware of any pattern part and it could not be done without proper timing tools and would take a lot of time.
