182 Rear discs + eBay

Evening all,

I knew when I bought my car last week that the rear discs were shot, so luckily this is planned maintenance! I've got a good mechanic mate to change them (means I don't need to buy the 175Nm torque wrench!) but I'll get hold of the discs and pads.

A quick trawl of the internet has shown K-tec selling genuine discs for £145 iirc, but eBay has genuine discs with pads (inc. ABS rings and bearings) for £99: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280693532...AX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649#ht_500wt_1054

The car is not likely to be seeing any track work in the near future (a few wee things I'd like to tidy before considering that), so is it actually worth spending the money for the Renault discs? Also is there anything from these ads that I might be missing?

I got the mintex one from eBay with pads. Seem fine to me, fitted fine. But try G172 on here as he does brembo discs at a good price.

I went for Genuine disks (with bearings already pressed in and abs rings) with mintex pads. They do the trick and its an easy enough job to do yourself.
iirc people on here recommend OEM disks.
