182 on 53 plate

As title, picking up a 2004 182 on a 53 plate but never seen a 182 on a 53, heard it called a press car?? Is this just an early model used for pr etc? Anything to look out for being a 53 early model?

How can u say that seeing as they were only made for what 18 months in total? 2 years max

If its a press car thats been given to say Evo Magazine for a week then it will have had a hard start in life. Lets be honest, if RUK dropped off a brand new Renaultsport Clio on your drive to test for a week your not exactly going to drive it like a grandma everywhere are you? It'll of been driven flat out on the limiter from cold every morning.

Probably well serviced in its early life though.

But it may have not, is this the only thing to consider with an early example?

check to make sure its had the cam belt aux belt an dephser pulley service, as it should have been done at 5yrs or 70,000 miles whichever came first inc all related pulleys ect.

If it's been a press car, it's definitely had it's head kicked in. Although so has every other 182 out there so I wouldn't worry.

It's been serviced every year but I will need to do belts etc. Driving wise I'm no expert but felt tighter than my 04 182 with 80k , this rb has 52k on
