Hello!

I’m just starting to tidy up the outside of the new to me 182, and the plastics have been previously painted and started to chip. Does anyone have any pointers on removing all the old paint, short of sanding everything? I’ve heard acetone might be good? Or IPA, or APC? Any pointers are welcomed!
Cheers!

Have a look at this thread.

@Jason_E painted his grill with something and it came up brilliantly 👍

I on the other hand had to replace my scuttle panel with a decent second hand one as the one previously on it had been lacquered and went funny.

Thanks for the link, will give it a look through! I did contemplate replacing it all, but starts to mount up in costs quickly, especially grilles!
