182 Alarm Help

Hi guys.

My 182 is fitted with what i presume is the standard factory alarm (including the interior motion sensors.) When i lock the car, from time to it bleeps three times. Is this a warning the central locking has failed to lock all compartments or should it be doing this every time to show the alarm has been activated? Really starting to bug me as there is no consistency in when it decides to bleep and when it doesn't. Any ideas?

it may be that your locking your car as soon as you close your ie doing both at the same time, which will cause the beeping like on mine. If not the beeping is usually down to something being left open/not closed proerly, check the alarm button/pin under your bonnet, usually to the right on the top of the grill. check its not got stuck open or got caught.

if i have left a compartment open so the cicuits aren't all closed, thats when its just a continuos bleep, this is three separate short bleeps on locking the motor
