172 throttle cable

Just a quick question I have. I need to order a new throttle cable from Renault but, seen as it's for an F4R'd Mk1, I don't have a registration to give them. I just wanted to know, will it be OK if I give them a registration for any Ph1 172? Are there different types/sizes of cable you can buy etc?

I bought one 1-2 months ago and ktec were cheaper than Renault. It was genuine o.e too, worth a check.
