172 on 40mm springs

Hi guys, I am currently debateing wether to do this or not? I put 40mm springs on the 1.2 with 15's on, which was a noticeable drop. With haveing 16's on the 172 im wondering if this would make much difference?

I only want to reduce the arch gap a little, done coilovers on the 1.2 & tbh the car was a nightmare getting around, I don't want silly low's anymore! (not that the 1.2 was as low as some on here!) Its just a nightmare, especially with my drive.
